Bankruptcy and settled cases?

A few months ago, a case was settled between a noncitizen and a family member of mine in my family member's favor. $150,000 was awarded to my family member. The case was appealed but again the judge ruled in favor of my family member. As the payment was about to begin to my family member, the noncitizen filed bankruptcy. The noncitizen's house and car are covered in exemptions and all that and his income is ';frozen'; according to my family member's lawyer and all hope seems to be lost. My family member's lawyer is no longer representing her and she recommended she seek a bankruptcy lawyer. Before she invests any more money into lawyers, is there any possible way to get our awarded money from the noncitizen?Bankruptcy and settled cases?
Citizenship is not a factor in bankrupcy. Your options as a creditor in bankruptcy are spelled out in your nation's bankruptcy law. Consult a local attorney.
