Do all Pc cases have HDMI slots?

I'm planning to make a HTPC and I'm a noob. I need to know whether all computer cases have HDMI slots. If they don't, can you give me some names of good cases? Also, I need a good motherboard that has HDMI slots too. Sorry, but it would really help me if you told me what to look for in a motherboard. :Do all Pc cases have HDMI slots?
|First of all, no computer case have a HDMI port. It's on the motherboard alternatively on a dedicated video card. When building a PC start with the motherboard, Its not called that for nothing. The better you motherboard the better the PC. I don't care what anyone says about this.

You will not regret spending money on a medium to upper level motherboard.

Some HDMI slots are limited and you will not be able to use the digital or analog output simultaneously.

Review, review, review... some reading won't hurt you!Do all Pc cases have HDMI slots?
The motherboard doesn't have a HDMI slot, you need to get a dedicated video card, like a geforce 9600gt or a geforce 9800gt, those are cheap.

What I mean is getting one of these: http://www.devicepedia.com/wp-content/up鈥?/a> usually they come with an hdmi adapter http://www.ixbt.com/video3/images/g94/bf鈥?/a>
Absolutely not. The case you pick has nothing to do with whether or not your PC will be equipped with HDMI. This depends on the motherboard. The space for the rear inputs is a set standard on all cases and thus is the same on every one. As far as good cases go, my personal favorites are made by a company called Lian-Li. A selection of their cases can be found here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis鈥?/a>

Just make sure the motherboard and case have compatible form factors. (Such as ATX)

Good Luck,

Taylor
