Does any body have an ideal why attornys say they can't take on any more cases. It seems I keep hearing these

My possibale case is against the VA hospital.Does any body have an ideal why attornys say they can't take on any more cases. It seems I keep hearing these
In general, when people say they can't do something, they mean they don't want to.

They will also say that if they don't think you can afford them.Does any body have an ideal why attornys say they can't take on any more cases. It seems I keep hearing these
One reason it's a polite way to say they don't want to handle your case.
Sometimes they will say that because they mean it and sometimes because it is not a good case. Also when you are going after the VA hospital it is against the government and that means it could and would take years. some lawyers just don't want to take on that kinda case.
Either they are truly busy, or they ar trying to let you down easy that they are not interested in your case because it is not a strong one.

It is reasonable for you to ask them if you think you have a strong, winnable case. How they answer will tell you lots!
