Constitutionally, none. And that's the way it should be.
Edit: I'm glad it's a just a research project. That depends partially on where you live. You'll have to look up local legislation, as well as searching the internet for relevant court cases. A good place to start would be googling the phrases ';Clear and Present Danger'; and ';Imminent Lawless Action';. Those two pertain to making a threat towards someone (which would probably be considered verbal abuse).Suits or cases that can be filed against verbal abusers?
