This is serious stuff and the NHS should be spending money on it...there is a world wide campaign to stop genital mutilation...time has passed when this ritualistic practice should be occurring and, honestly, I would rather see 40 thousand pound spent on such a worthy cause than the millions of pounds spent on abortion.拢40,ooo to reprot cases of Female Genital Mutilation , couldnt the NHS use this for a better Purpose ?
This is an archaic act performed on young girls so that they won't desire men before marriage and will be faithful after marriage. I watched a documentary on this and I thought I'd throw up. Many of these young girls bleed to death and if they survive suffer extreme physical problems for life. The most horrible thing is that it is performed by other women not the men.拢40,ooo to reprot cases of Female Genital Mutilation , couldnt the NHS use this for a better Purpose ?
It's 拢20 000, and it's the police who are offering it.

You take on screaming terrified little girl, hold her down and cut off her most sensitive parts with a blunt instrument - this is what circumcision is. You try having someone cut off your foreskin with a blunt knife and see how you feel.
What better reason could you thing of? Isn't torture and mutilation of young innocent girls a pretty good cause?

What if it was male gential mutilation, would you still have the same feelings? Do some research, these poor girls go through hell because of the atrocites that are committed in the name of their religion.
