i was abused in las vegas and there were witnesses as well as pictures and the man went to jail but was out the next day. he is a 2 strike felon and is just really making my life a living nightmare. for some reason the d.a dismissed the charges and he was free. i was very depressed after that and lost hope in judicial system. is there any hope for bringing that back for justice, i had never even been contacted and it didnt even reach trial. they just never picked case up.....what can i doStatute of limitations on domestic violence cases?

You indicated that you were never contacted; if that was the case, how do you know the case was dismissed?
You need to contact the DA to find out why the case was dismissed.
Call the D.A. in the city where this happen and make some noise about it, they will listen to you if you talk loud enough.
