just for example, like if 2 people were applying for a job in a church of england school to teach religion, a person who was church of england would be chosen over a muslim teacher, because parents might not want her beliefs to rub off on the children.

maybe this is good maybe not, but i think certain all Black colleges and all White colleges are good because then there is no violence,no racism, no superiority due to raceIn what cases could discrimination be a positive thing?
Usually for political reasons or political correctness.
If you had to choose 10 players for a ball team, and 10 of them trying out were white and there was a Black kid making 11.
Lets say that black kid really was the worst...would you really cut him?
You wouldn't elect a president of another ethnic background.
E.g.
If the USA elected a Chinese president, and lets say he was good! like he was doing everything right for america.
Pulling out troops, lower taxes, less military, etc!
But at the same time, you know he would always slightly lean towards the well being of china, which is not good because China is now USA biggest competitor.
Things like that could always get in the way.
Same with Obama being black, the way he treats african countries are going to be different than if it was a white president.
Americans call it ';positive discrimination'; us kiwis call it
'; affirmative action'; I call it ';bullsh*t'; Its when people get more opportunities because of their race. Which for me means that a Maori student might get my place, even if their grade is lower than mine.
You can discriminate against child molesters. They should die.
when a 30 year old guy tries to get a 17 year old girl to go out with him. the girl should discriminate and assume hes up to no good.
